During world war two Paris capitulated very fast, so it wasn’t destroyed and still we can see in there amazing pieces of architecture. One of the nicest objects is Notre Dame cathedral, excellent example of Gothic architecture. Another interesting churches is Sacre Coeur basilica, located at the top of the Montmartre hill. This eclectic church, raised in the end of 19th century, is popular meeting place. Of course while being in Paris you cannot miss the Eiffel Tower. This true symbol of the cITy is great observation deck. You have to take a stairs or lift to enjoy amazing view on entire old town.
Capital of France were always known for artists who use to live here during many centuries. That is why Paris museums has huge collections of important pieces. People who are not very into art can choose Louvre, home for the Mona Lisa, the most popular painting on the world. Museum d’Orsay is more quiet but also filled with great works. You will see in there Breakfast on the grass by Manet, for example. If you like modern art the most, you will appreciate visit in Museum di Pompidou. All important artists of modern art are there, like Chagall, Kandinski, Dali or Miro. Paris also have a lot of private and public galleries, where contemporary artists are showing their talents.
Visit in Disneyland
About one hour drive from Paris you can reach this amazing amusement park. It is a place great not only for kids, but also adults. You can spend in there entire day and still not explore all the attractions. In Disneyland you will have plenty of rollercoaster, carousels and big wheels, a lot of them are really scary. You can also grab a meal in there, drink some beer and buy plenty of souvenirs connected with Disney’s characters.
Quarter of artist
If you like to feel the spirit of old Paris from the movies, you have to spend day in Montmartre.
This quarter use to me home for popular artists, which were spending days on local coffee shops. Nowadays still a lot of those places are open, you can also see small art galleries, visit night clubs or see a play in the theater. In Montmartre Place Pigalle is situated, with legendary Moulin Rouge cabaret.
